SUB-MICRON MAGNETIC LUBRICANT, SOLVENT & SOLUTION FILTERS

Sub-Micron Magnetic Filters are not traditional cartridge filters with magnets.

Expensive machinery & machined parts requiring high tolerances can require super clean fluids

Compact in size, the Sub-micron Magnetic Filters are available in 2" diameter by 8" high SS housings and do not provide magnetic flocculation zones but are an economical choice.

3" diameter housings 8" to 14" high offer the highest performance incorporating magnetic flocculation zones.

Sub-Micron contaminants not easily visible can cause havoc in machining fluids, causing machine wear and damaged or out of tolerance parts. Small particle contaminants either pass through traditional filters or clog openings in super fine filter spores. Costly filter placement is likely with traditional filters. Screens or costly filter media are not required in this one-time cost, magnetic filter.

The sub-micron magnetic filters have proven to be so effective; they not only remove sub-micron ferrous and partially magnetic stainless steel; they can eventually filter out non-magnetics.

How it works

Accumulating captured ferrous fines collect around the magnetic rod and form a filter media that expands to the inner wall of the filters housing, so screens or other filter media are not necessary. Stainless steel and other sub-micron contaminants collect in the magnetically attracted and contained fines.

Super Nova 52 Mega Gauss (52,000 gauss) Rare Earth Permanent Magnets, the strongest available, are used in the magnetic rod’s circuitry.  Maximizing effectiveness.  The Sub-Micron Magnetic Filter also incorporates a magnetic flocculating zone for the effective removal of sub-micron particles.
